Finance for Energy Efficiency (PF4EE)

Solas Sustainable Energy Fund is supported by the Private Finance for Energy Efficiency (PF4EE) initiative, a financial instrument funded through the EU LIFE Programme and set up by the EIB and the European Commission. The LIFE Programme is the EU’s funding instrument for the environment and climate action created in 1992. The LIFE Programme has co-funded over 5,500 projects since its inception.

Energy Efficiency Financial Institutions Group (EEFIG)

Solas Capital is a member of the Energy Efficiency Financial Institutions Group (EEFIG), actively participating in working groups which create reports and thought leadership to guide the EU’s EE financing strategy. EEFIG comprises over 200 organisations working on energy efficiency investments throughout the European Union.

European Energy Efficiency Finance Coalition (EEFC)

Solas Capital is a member of the European Energy Efficiency Financing Coalition (EEFC), which unites financial institutions, EU countries, and the Commission to enhance energy efficiency financing. The EEFC works to create favorable market conditions for investments and scale up private financing to meet EU climate targets through collaborative dialogue and practical initiatives.

Investors Dialogue on Energy (ID-E)

Solas Capital is a member of Working Group 4 within the Investors Dialogue on Energy (ID-E), which focuses on the topic of “Heating and Cooling”. The ID-E acts as a extensive stakeholder platform, that brings together experts from the energy and financial sectors from all countries of the European Union. Its main objective is to assess and improve financing mechanisms, with a particular focus on mobilising funding under the REPowerEU plan and the European Green Deal.
